Large Christmas Event Branding and Marketing Strategy
The Christkindlmarkt 2018 was an authentic German Christmas market held in Downtown Cincinnati for two consecutive weekends in November 2018. Cincideusch Inc. challenged ScoreOne to come up with a fresh look and an overall re-branding and marketing strategy.
We took this challenge to our hearts and created a fresh look and feel. The 2018 branding included elements of traditional German Christmasmarket mixed with some local Cincinnati flair. ScoreOne created a traditional print marketing strategy which included posters, flyers, digital billboards, banners and merchandise. The digital marketing strategy included Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and we were able to increase the digital awareness by 800% compared to previous years. Some of our Facebook posts reached over 350k people which is a lot for a city with a population of around 300k people. This means that most likely everyone in the city has seen our advertising at least once.
ScoreOne was able to create a brand awareness that hasn’t existed yet in previous years and therefore the Christmas market was a huge success. 2018 was the first year since 4 years where Cincideutsch Inc. made a profit and had an overall attendance of over 50k people over the two weekends.
